Camp Life

My last summer of working at camp has just finished! I have not been consistently taking photos this summer, but I always snap a picture of my cabin of girls each week and usually a few other various ones when I feel the impulse. This is a very random assortment or pictures, but it's a glimpse into what I have experienced every week and the beauty that I'm constantly surrounded by in God's beautiful creation at camp.
The other beauty that I was surrounded by is that of my campers. Each week, they showed me glimpses of Jesus in different and unique ways. Though I'm busy, exhausted, sometimes frustrated, and definitely imperfect, I love being a counsellor! I'm thankful for the responsibility God gave me through this job and I can only pray that He has let His love shine through me in spite of myself.

Hiking in Beautiful British Columbia

  Two weeks ago, this fantastic group of 5 camp friends set out on an adventure in the beautiful alpine meadows of Manning Park, BC. Other than the sore shoulders and knees, trudging to a far away campsite in the dark, and a freezing cold night, the hike was a success! The sunset on Friday night over the meadows and mountains was breath-taking, the wildflowers stretched on and on for miles, the view from the peak of the First Brother was terrific, refreshing patches of snow surprised us, and sometimes we couldn't help but burst into selections from the "Sound of Music" as well as many hymns! These are just a few pictures to share a glimpse of God's grand creation that we got to enjoy in Beautiful British Columbia.

Whitman Mission

                       Whitman Mission is just about my favorite place in Walla Walla because it's so peaceful.
